Gabriel Meyer

As an eccentric and lover of the arts, the organisation’s mission has always resonated with me. I have always been fascinated by the perspective of my peers on matters ranging from fashion to climate change. I joined Freed’op precisely because one has the freedom to discuss any topic in a meaningful way. Before joining the board, I played concerts at a few of our events, and even published a poetry collection under a pseudonym. With regards to the journalistic aspect, I believe that in a world of democratic backsliding, it is all the more vital that students have a platform where they can be freely heard or read.
